Why? they both moved for money. It could even be said that Pep has taken a step down each time clubwise in truth.

Well not really cos he picked Bayeen who were already by far the dominant club in Germany and then City who had the best squad and are the richest in PL.

Well when you have chequebook obsessed ******s in charge for 5 years the youngsters will get limited opportunities.

We didn’t buy Pique btw.

Signed / bought, same thing. You signed him from the Barca youth system; they couldn't give contacts to players under 18, Man Utd could.

Point was, he didn't come through your youth system. Much like Gomez didn't come through ours.

Mate, Pix will support any club and its supporters if he sniffs an opportunity to wum Spurs.

It's dreadfully desperate and, at times, unbearably embarrassing.

I'm warming to you HiaG, i should have listened to you, i realise now that Pix is a wrong-un. I've sent you a PM,I wasn't supposed to share this stuff, but only thought it right that you know <ok>

He graduated from our academy to our first team, like Pogba did. It’s youth development that can be attributed to our academy.

Saints isn’t that great, who they had? Shaw, Oxlade, who else? Can’t have Bale or Walcott.

So you have hiag and metths...winner winner chicken dinner.

At the end of the day he's reached his ceiling with Spuds as they won't/can't spend to get to the next level, same as us once Nicola left.

With United, he could fail to make any impact, keep them in Spurs' shadow for two or three more seasons, and then get sacked at the end of it.

Why take the risk when he's already well on the way to achieving what he wants at Spurs?

We are leagues ahead of United, and Poch will know that with them now being a rudderless ship that he can push on even harder and further.

At Spurs, Poch can be a legend. At United, the most that he can realistically hope for is the odd foray into a domestic cup final.

I think the man has greater ambitions than that, quite frankly.

So you're talking purely the 'homegrown' years then? I meant from youth; Signed as a kid having not been anywhere else first.

I'll let one of the saints fans answer about their academy.

Thanks, mate. I told you that you'd got me wrong, from the start.

Just off to look at the PM. Hold on a minute...

Fcuk me! That's hilarious!

It goes no further.

I swear.

You’re definitely starting to panic <laugh>

You know he’d run up the M6 in his bare feet if we wanted him, right?

Small steps mate, once he reaches a domestic cup final with Spurs he may be ready to step up to a big club :emoticon-0105-wink:

You brought the Southampton reference up you should really answer it yourself.

The conversation is irrelevant anyway, the league is littered with lads who were in our academy.
