I'm not mocking your past achievements but I don't think they bare any relevance to tomorrow and the foreseeable...the shirts sold in Vietnam do though..I understand the money lure.

Same thing happened after Busby didn't it and you were quite average for a very long time. Dizzy heights of third are just a stepping stone mate..you was once reaching the dizzy heights of winning promotion back to the top flight.

I don't give a **** about the Sky4 mate don't know why you're trying that angle with me tbh.

Finishing in the top 3 for three years running doesn't mean you've now made it and will stay there, you're about to lose the bloke who got you there <whistle>

We recently had a run of four top 8 finishes in a row, lose a decent manager or two and a couple of bad decisions and we finish 17th last year...

It is a fact yeah...there are a lot of sleeping Giants in English football and United were one aswell.

When have I said we have made it? What I said is..we are the most progressive and it's obvious we are serious about it...yet you still think it's a massive carrot to help United win a 14th PL...instead of actually helping another team become a major force in English football. I know which proposition would be more attractive to me...until someone showed me the money...that's the only reason I would take my eye off the ball.

Hudds...just returned to the top flight after a 30 plus year absence..Blackburn disappeared in the 90's. We have been in the top flight for more years than you have been on this planet. If you want to be obtuse about it then get fukt I'm off to make breakfast.

How many times have Spurs been down again?

I'm relying on the board to make sure it doesn't happen this time and, in order to do that, they need to appoint a new long term manager they trust.

That man could well be Poch.

And yes, the lure of being the man who sorted United out is far, far greater than being the man who continued along the same vein under Levy.

Would be to 99.9999% of managers.

Always will be.
