Any "ABU" (though no such thing exists, I prefer to just call them knobs), would be silly to claim otherwise, in terms of trophies won, fanbase, turnover, stadium size, recent success, fame....United come out at No. 1 in all of these unfortunately. And these facts cannot be argued against. But the problem for you is, you all suck and Chelsea's better
Or, you could realise that it is Man Utd fans that believe there is such a thing as ABU I can't see too many posters on here arguing against it, can you?
It's saturday evening Gerrez, most of the ABU's are doing what their wives tell them and carrying the shopping home
I used to work with a guy who was a Liverpool fan. Great big fat ugly bloke from the West Country. Became a Liverpool fan after watching them win one of the European Cup finals in the late 70's. Categorically refused to accept he was a glory supporter as he'd stuck with Liverpool through the 90's but readily admitted that United's success had turned him into an ABU. If you're reading this Fat Lad then I hope you're less of a **** now than you were back then and that you've managed to get some of the weight off!
Of course there are ABUs. Most of the RS fans and lately many chavs and the arse fans have joined them. Reasons: #21. Which is quite understandable. And of course there are ABRS. And I could be one of them. Fans are fans and most of them are very similar. The RS ones claim not only to be different but superior and special. Somehow their knowledge of football is better then anyone else, their support of their players stronger, their ground is somehow holy their players love their club more other players love theirs. In short the very definition of the deluded fan.
Mourinho hasn't said anything new. Chelsea don't make enough money to be able to compete with the big boys under the FFP rules, we all know that as a football empire isn't built in a decade. Recently they've done very well to generate funds from big sales like Lukaku, Mata and Sideshow but they aren't a club known for buying cheap and selling high or bringing players through the ranks and Jose is definitely not the man to implement such a feelossofee. The current squad is strong, the real challenge will be maintaining that strength on a budget akin to the one they had in relative terms pre-Roman when they were always thereabouts but never there. Again, Jose isn't the man to do that so he could well be getting his excuses in early. FFP is our friend!
