Always liked him and I have always said I would want him at my club.

Testament to that is when I was glad he left Chelsea.

Well we did it and no one has sued so i guess it is legal...not sure how paying someone their wages could actually be illegal <laugh> Maybe you'd like to explain that one.

Oh and theses guys must have it wrong too: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...e-will-cost-the-club-20m-in-lost-revenue.html
Here, let me quote you the relevant part to save you time.

What has helped Chelsea’s accounts is a policy of not paying off sacked managers, such as Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Di Matteo, in one lump sum but instead keeping them on their payroll until they find a new job.

And when they find a new job, you have to pay up their contracts. It's quite simple really. <doh>

You complete tool. If they decide to leave us and take another job they don't get paid up. They are our employees whilst they are being paid. It's just like anyone leaving for a new job you total tit.

The Telegraph doesn't say anything about what happened when he joined Spurs, so you can quite happily believe both, nothing contradictory in them.

Bobby Charlton is having a laugh suggesting that Mourhino isn't fit to manage the mancs after Fergie retires and that Fergie doesn't like him.

'One of the most uncomfortable entries on an ever-lengthening charge sheet was Mourinho's gouging of the eye of Tito Vilanova, then Barcelona's assistant coach, in the 2011 Spanish Super Cup. "A United manager wouldn't do that," Charlton says. "Mourinho is a really good coach but that's as far as I would go really. He's the manager of Real Madrid and we expect to play them in the Champions League by the end of the season."
When it is put to him that it is difficult to imagine a United manager being allowed to get away with some of Mourinho's behaviour, Charlton says: "You are right. He pontificates too much for my liking. He's a good manager, though."
But Ferguson admires Mourinho. "He doesn't like him too much, though," Charlton shoots back'.

The media loved him and quite a number of rival fans liked Mourinho.

Bobbys talking nonsense here. Fergie and Mourinho are quite alike for one thing and Fergie has stated a few times they are friends.

imo Mourinho is the next United manager. Funnily enough I wonder if DL's respect will go down for him should it turn out to be the case.
