Special mention to Drameh who has taken a lot of stick but was great and got a lovely assist

Frankly, everyone was on it tonight. Very proud of the team and the coaching staff tonight. Add a decent LB and hopefully Thomas and I think we’ll be good for a comfortable mid-table or above position with some enjoyable football along the way.

... it's often said, there's a team that comes out of nowhere to sneak into the playoffs with momentum .... :emoticon-0105-wink:

Do we have a realistic chance of that?

DQPR game and we're going to end up in the conference north, Acun is useless and the brains team have had a lobotomy...

Blunts game and we're going up as fudging champions...

Given that we are still a game away from being back in the bottom three, I would happily take a mid table spot at the end of the season in a heartbeat. However, for me, staying up but allowing Selles to settle and develop a team for next season and with a full pre-season/no massive churn of players and manager, would be even better. Crooks looks really up for this (despite being half fit), a couple of the new signings have clearly demonstrated that they can add a bit of steel to the team, (in the last couple of years I thought that we were way too soft) and the players' body language suggests that they are enjoying life under this manager. For me this bodes well in terms of building a decent team playing watchable football.

I feel guilty for choosing 3.

1 ... Crooks ... Great debut and great strike.
2 ...Alzate ... He has certainly taken up the gauntlet for us, what an asset.
3 ...Kamara ... To me the most improved player over the last few weeks, I know other players have improved since Sell'es joined but most didn't want him on the pitch now he is worth his place.

What a great team effort, from everyone including the subs. We are getting some good strength in depth now.

A big shout for Ruben and his team too.

    Well done.

We would have to go on an even better run than QPR’s recent one, starting now. So it is a remote possibility but highly unlikely given our home form and the state of the pitch. We need to win the next seven just to get back to ‘par’. Even if we did that it’s a tough ask. But win 20 games in succession, and we’re back in the Premier League.

QPR had won four in a row then lost at home to Wednesday, I think Sheffield utd had won four in a row then we beat them. Teams above us can and will drop points, we are still on our one good performance followed by a poorer one. If we string a few wins in a row together the play off places are not a million miles away.

    Crooks 74
    McLoughlin 55
    Jones 22
    Gelhardt 20

The MOTM poll was a lot closer than the game.

Undoubtedly game of the season so far; we need to start putting more teams to the sword.

A few more maulings are called for.
