Some excellent football today from City and it wouldn't have been unfair if we'd have gone in five up at half time. Three top drawer goals too.
Good to see the return of Delap, and I wouldn't want to be Connellys cat tonight.
Another gate topping 20,000 on RL Challenge Cup Quarter Final Day in this 'rugby mad town'. Made some noise too.
Not convinced about Giles as a full back.
Matty Jacobs looked twice the player he is and Regan Slater was also on song.

The caveat. DQPR were so bad if any City player had had a bad game I don't think I'd have noticed ...Good to see LD return. Boy have we missed him. Hope and pray he's here next season.

Tufan - his goal was glorious, his work rate immense, and he’s ours. My MotM for the second game on the trot.
Philogene - even aside from the great goal, he seemed more at it, and willing to pass more
Carvalho - to finish with aplomb like he did was true class.
But no-one had a bad game. Jacob was class. I especially liked that he tried different passes, down the centre, which sparked a lot of our moves.
At times we played scintillating football. V annoying that Norwich got that winner otherwise I think it could all have still have been on. West Brom losing at home gives a glimmer of hope, though. We need to win the next two, ideally with another two 3-0’s or better.

Everyone else was deserving of mention. Slater though in particular is unlucky not to make the top three. His work ethic and ability with the ball at his feet is great to watch.
