Those two and Amir (I have no idea why we've brought him in) should have been hooked after 20 minutes. When you're making 3 substitutions at HT, you've started the game with the wrong team
McBurnie - not just for his 2 goals, but even in the first half despite us being poor, you could see from his efforts just how hard he was trying to get us going, this lad is a true leader, and something we've been missing for years. Giles - what a wand of a left foot he has and his partnership with McBurnie is so.ething to behold, improving defensively albeit still not one you'd call solid, but what he offers going forward more then makes up for it. Gelhardt - was between him, Millar and Slater for third spot, they all brought a balance and energy to the team that had gone awol in the first half. But for me Gelhardt just shaded it. Pandur is definitely suffering confidence wise, Hughes is perhaps trying too hard and as a result his form has dipped and Drameh just isn't a right winger, Palmer i the other hand just doesn't do it for.me, he is one to bring on when where 3 up and coasting so he can target tiring defences and have space, a.luxury we're rarely gonna have this year.
