Gelhardt Puerta Kamara We looked like a team that had recently played with a man short for 85 mins (including the five minutes extra at the end of each half) in the previous game. Alzate was uncharacteristically poor by his standards tonight. As for that farce of a decision at the end by the ref, if he sees it back he should ask for the second yellow to be reversed, but of course that isn’t going to happen. The trouble is we’re now going to be without Puerta as well as Pedro on Saturday.
Gelhardt Coyle Hughes. .. Mentions to for Kamara, Macca, and Palmer who I thought made a difference when he came on. Puerta was having a good game too. Joseph had a decent first half, tried hard, but is playing out wide really his best position? So why was Puerta sent off? I know it was two yellow cards but surely the second one was a penalty and not a dive? I've only seen it live from W12 and it looked a stone wall penalty to me? But once again we had a referee who looked out of his depth, he was yards away from the sending off incident and should have consulted with his linesman. He also lost control just before half time when there was a couple of incidents at the corners which he should have stamped out earlier, but didn't, then when it kicked off he blew for half time. Weak refereeing. All in all a very good win tonight it what was a physical game, and one which we refused to be bullied in. Lewie Coyle was very good tonight, proper captains performance. .. Asked on another thread, but incase it's been overlooked....why are all the seats inside the stadium now black and white? What has happened to the amber seating? It is supposed to be 50/50, isn't it?
I think they've just faded over time. They're a sort of faded peachy colour now that's effectively white. It was never 50/50 though, the majority have always been black.
When the stadium was built it was 100% black and white seating, no amber at all. The amber seats were an after thought, and it was said at the time that the seat colouring is 'now' 50/50, when in never actually was. I was in the ground early tonight and noticed a lot of the stadium advertising boards have been renewed, the MKM boards especially, some have been blanked out altogether, and the impression to me anyhow, was that the whole interior of the stadium has been spruced for the start on the RL season in Fc's colours. The seats are all now black and white. The interior of the stadium is now 99% Hull Fc. Have a look, City hardly have a presence in our own stadium now.
