Allsop so much for the general feeling that he was not up to snuff. Good distrubution, some good saves and I was impressed with his command of his box at corner kicks when he was plucking balls out of the air with with grace and ease of Michael Jordan.
    Greaves
    Jones
Special mention to Traore and Lokilo when they came on. Yes Traore missed a sitter but his all round play was excellent; think many have written him off to early. Lokilo in the short time he was on showed as much talent as our marrque signing, getting round their right back on the outside on at least one occasion which i think Jaden failed to do.
Scott Twine failed to impress once again. If LR was watching the same game I was he will be on the bench on Saturday.

The problem with Twine is that his performances are not matching expectations. If Harry Vaughan had played the same way last night we would probably describe it as neat and tidy, and didn’t look out of place.

We hope Twine is someone who will be key for us in achieving a top 6 place. He’s not playing badly at the moment - just not setting the world alight.

Seri - quality passes, got further forward than usual, too
Coyle - another "heart on sleeve" performance from the captain. He keeps proving the doubters wrong
Allsop - looked confident and assured

I just think he maybe needs a few games coming off the bench when the opposition are tiring to help get his confidence up. Although, ideally he needs to be playing more centrally too but then he’s vying for that position with Tufan, Traore and possibly Slater to some degree once Morton is up to speed.

Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third.

    Allsop 148
    Seri 82
    Greaves 57
    Coyle 39
    Jones 22
    Slater 4
    Morton 2
    Christie 1

100% MOTM success for Allsop. Played 1, won 1. Second game in a row that a debutant has taken the MOTM prize following Philogene against Coventry.

Centre back pairing looking strong, and the regular high scores from both our captain and chief playmaker.

Slater continues his run of having picked up points in every league game but several of those scores have been single digits. Is it warranted or does he just have a couple of superfans?
