When we beat Liverpool 5-6 next week, we'll be first up!

I am not smug in anyway, but I am looking from it from a football perspective.

Newcastle vs Chelsea - Gary Speed Factor - 4th vs 5th. Manager in "crisis" etc. Controversy, Evenly contested game, Goals, Chances
City vs Norwich - Title Challenger vs Relegation Candidate. Goals Galore.
Blackburn vs Swansea - Relegation Candidate vs Relegation Candidate, 4 goal scorer, manager under pressure. Goals Galore
Spurs vs Bolton - In form Prem team vs Relegation Candidate. Controversy. High Scoring
Wigan vs Arsenal - Relegation Candidate vs Top 4 Contender, Goals Galore, Chances etc.
Villa vs United - Top Half team vs Title Challenger. Few goals
QPR vs WBA - Relegation Candidate vs Team that will probably finish Midtable. Few goals

If you look at it that way, the order was pretty fair.

I was the first to agree with QPR fans when they beat Stoke 3-2 and United who coincidentally won 1-0 were shown before them.

I like to contribute to all the boards because I enjoy football discussion. I have the odd WUM on the United board (simply because it is United) now and then but all in good spirit

Agreed. District is the anomaly that proves the rule that all Chelsea fans are ****ers.

QPR v West Brom means **** all to anyone outside of West London and West Bromwich.

I agreed that District was right in what he said, it's the way he comes across for me, that's all.

I think the order was right, my moan was about Lineker, a face you'd never tire of slapping (or kicking)!

Don't worry DL , Cols in a mood at the moment! ;)
One thing though, if we're relegation candidates so are the Baggies, from what I saw yesterday<cool>

Were they really that bad? I always imagined under Hodgson they'd kick on and finish midtable, they were unlucky to lose to us and United but I haven't seen much of them in a while.

Very average I thought, if we're in it so are they.

I think a lot of people think neither club is in danger and won't finish significantly higher or lower than were they are. On another day QPR would not have been last. I usually find Everton or Wigan are on last but when you have Chelsea, City, Spurs, Arsenal and United all playing on a Saturday unless you support one of those teams you will always find yourselves lower down the pecking order.

As Northolt sarcastically but rightly said, you will find yourselves on 1st if not 2nd on MOTD for the next two weeks running due to the teams you are against.

As hard as it is to believe I recall many a time seeing us last on MOTD last season and 2 seasons before last. Swings and roundabouts.

Besides you know what they say... Save the best till last ;) Look at it that way <ok>

Well as you saw the game I respect your opinion. I can't go off highlights alone but it seemed QPR were the better team certainly in 1st half and perhaps WBA the 2nd.

In fairness to WBA they have played 5 of the top 7 which may explain their sluggish start but I don't know.

Positives for you guys are that after Christmas (on paper) it gets a lot easier and you've got the transfer market to strengthen which I am sure you will do.

Totally beyond me why we ain't the first item on every news programme remotely connected to football. Greatest team the world has ever seen. QPR!

District...Northy isn't getting much right at the moment and he's wrong again. WBA looked a decent side who passed it around well. Long was a real hand-full up front too.

Tja, to be honest both WBA and us looked pretty average low mid table with danger of falling into the bottom 3 to me yesterday. Thought we were marginally better and should would have won as we would but for the blind linesperson and apalling finishing, but as we were at home so we should have been bettter. Thought we needed Adel or someone on the park who could create more, and think he should have come on, not Akos.

You can say that about every team in the Prem , they'll have their spells of possession.(we had 56% BTW)
But the point was Col, "if we're in it so are they" in reply to DL.
And no, I wasn't overly impressed with them, they should've been beaten well.

I saw 50 -50 possession stats on the PL channels North, though it seemed we had more to me. Seems like I see different possession stats most games though...
