He's a ****, but Nolans first was class.

Sunderland fans complaining about Elmo diving - he could have easily gone down then in the box.

Agreed, really good to see him hold his feet, but was moping a bit and stood off the pitch. If he'd bothered to come back onside he might have been able to react from Mannone's save from Jela.

Pisses me off that there are so many players who take an age coming back from off-side.

Good comments from Shearer there. The first person I've heard say £13m for our strikers is good business!

Jelavic probably should have got two today. If not the head off the post, then he should have got that one on one on target.

Very tough angle, Meyler's pass was poor, had too much pace on it. Should have passed it earlier but didn't see the run.

As with the last game, he's inches away from grabbing a hat full. It's more promising than worrying. It's not like he's not making or getting into the positions like Graham etc. He's looking sharper, exciting times ahead I think.

While I agree it wasn't an easy chance, he had a similar one last week and made Lloris work. He should have done the same today for me.

Meylers pass was poor? It was a bloody beauty! Pinpoint accurate and perfectly weighted!

His flick for Livermore was top stuff anarl (another new word learned from those knuckle draggers on that Sunderland board, have I used it correctly?)

If you say so. The fact it got to Jelavic at that sort of angle says otherwise to me. Also the fact that we were all screaming at Meyler to look up and play the ball and he took an age to do it.

These Makwads do come out with the odd phrase which causes a titter.

I see you like howaaaay and anarl.

My favourite was a put down that one Makwad called another Makwad.

Clown-shoe.

Bob you f**king Clown-shoe.

See how it works?

Genius.

Anarl is correct, but ALL posts on the Sunderland board MUST heap abuse upon Steve Bruce. It is all his fault, despite three managers and four transfer windows to resolve any problems.

I am not so sure if they are more pleased at appearing in yet another cup final, or being on a winning streak of three against their nearest neighbours.

1. Liverpool v Arsenal
2. Chelsea v Newcastle United
3. Norwich City v Manchester City
4. Swansea City v Cardiff City
5. Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion
6. Southampton v Stoke City
7. Aston Villa v West Ham United
8. Sunderland v Hull City

Guess it was hardly a shock like. But IMO we should have been game 6 with the Norwich - Man City game being last.
