Wigan shouldn't be there. Relegation should count negative.

I see your point but its a bit outdated. Champions league qualification should be included IMO, its a bigger achievement than winning the league or FA cup, in the modern game.

My goodness those people have serious serious issues.
Poor solid took some hits, held his own like :)
Very poor thread

Are they still moaning about 'home loss, draw or away win'...?

no trophies for 4th.

plus this would award points to spurs and that's just plain wrong ;)

Haha, fair enough.

Still think domestic trophies stopped being important about 10-15 years ago though. Once teams started resting their first XI's in the trophies it made them into a bit of a joke, tbh. The lack of money domestic trophies offers Vs the money CL offers means they are slowly becoming an irrelevant measurement of success in the modern game.

Man Utd abstaining from the FA Cup so they could take part in the World Club Cup started the ball rolling

That was in there but just the once. They were giving Solid some rief, as far as I could see Solid was right.
Just cant believe they have a whole thread devoted to bitching about us, weird

Yup, exactly. It came second to making the club a global brand. Look at the respect Wenger got from football fans around the UK for winning 3 out of his last 4 (I think?) FA cups Vs Pochettino & Klopp, who won nothing in the same period. I know its upsetting, or hard to accept, for older football fans who have grown up with the FA cup being this huge deal and a national treasure but its not the case anymore, sadly.

I rather be in our position now, competing in the CL and challenging for the title than in 2011/12 (I think) when we won the league cup with Kenny.

yeah.. but at least we won some5hing.

I'd rather be in Chelsea position with 5 major trophies and 5 cups. that's the aim no?

we could be, without being arrogant, on 2 major trophies and 2 cups right now under klopp.

you are right about the disrespect Wenger got.

but again... Chelsea and city are up there and don't ignore cups.

I think it's why they are up there
