Not sure why there is so much beel for Kubrik, he did Spartacus and Full Metal Jacket so can't be all bad although Clockwork Orange was messy and not like the book. I saw 2001 A Space Odyssey when I was about 10 and it was the most boring film I had ever seen to date and I don't know if I've been as bored at the cinema since. It was on a double bill with You Can't Stop The Music with the Village People which was much more entertaining, little did I know back then that none of the men in the movie were interested in the blonde flashing her tits in the hot tub. Pooves, all of them iirc. Who knew? Bad Aids came along shortly after so I guess not many of the chaps walking around in hot pants at the YMCA cashed in their pensions.
