Unfortunately for the likes of Boyzone, Spice Girls etc, they would have all but been forgotten in 50 years time... the Beatles will not. It's funny what you say about Something and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Probably my two favorite Beatles songs, haha. Something we can slightly agree on.
Coldplay - There were two songs that I didn't mind, but I can't remember what they were so they can't have been that good; Radiohead - Had one good album, The Bends, but otherwise an unspectacular band; Muse - I can't think of anything good to say about them; Franz Ferdinand - ****e; Blue/Boyzone/Westlife - They're all the same thing.
The Beatles debate is an interesting one. Occasional brilliance mixed with a small dose of mediocracy. Miles better than Freddie and the dreamers or Billy j Kramer and the dakotas. That was the standard at the time. The Beatles opened the gates to allow the talent to flood out. They should be applauded for that.
Weirdo. I'm going to say Metallica, I just don't get their music. The Pigeon detectives aswell. Oh, and ****ing Keane!!
Part 2 Spice Girls (Tescos missing 5 check out girls) Atomic kitten (hahaha) kings of Leon (Who?) stone roses (overblown dross) Eric clapton (bad cover versions) David Bowie (preening tosser) Rolling stones (should have stopped 30 years ago) Cliff Richard (ancient talentless ****)
I sometimes pretend to be a Bowie fan on here but he is ****in' **** to be honest. Crap songs sung in a ridiculous cockney accent. Up his own arse as well. Vastly overrated like The Beatles.
Part 3 The Eagles The The (useless...couldn't even choose a name) Any new romantic band (grrrrr) Sweet Def Leppard bananarama boy george I would run out of ammunition.
