You sure you aren't a Sunderland fan QWOP?
With that outlook on life you'd think so.

I looked up all fixtures for villa Wigan us and Southampton last week, within that short week I shoulda looked up mags, stoke, Norwich, bloody down to wire this year. As I've posted though, neither of us dare lose this derby game

Maybe Villa will win at Wigan and keep us all up, but Wigan are experts at survival, but remember years ago when Fulham were about 7 points adrift 2nd bottom but they put a run together and stopped up, so anything is possible, but Stoke and Norwich are on appalling runs 1 win in 15 for Norwich I think now. And what has happened to Stoke they had the best home defence after about 9 matches but look shocking now.

Wigan always seem to just scrape through- jammy toerags.

Nothing has changed for me, still a number of clubs in the brown stuff. Soton seem to have done enough- are they any better than we are? I don't think so. Frustrating season.

I think we need 3 wins. Am hoping we win tomorrow (heart) , but really expecting nowt (head). I work for a load of Chelsea fans and they think we're complete ****, so poking their top 4 hopes in the eye would be great.

If Le Fondre and co had their shooting boots on today they'd have walloped Saints but when you're on top, you have to score. They didn't and Southampton did.

I'd fancy us to beat them and Stoke at home and nibble a point elsewhere in other games - I'd take a point next Sunday will be just fine. 7 points and a total of 38 will see us safe.

Whatever happens, the most important derby game was a 2-0 win for Denis Smith's men at Sid James way back in the days of the G-Force (Gabbiadini & Gates).

The mags were so impressed they ran onto the pitch to congratulate our lads...:)

That's the great thing though, mate; it goes on and on...

I hope we both survive because of it. If you went down it would be a laugh on the day, but the next season would be missing something. Don't know how your lot feel about it, but that's what I think.

I hate myself for saying this but I don't want the mags to go down either.

Unless its down to us or them of course.

The NE is far better off as a region having 2 Premiership clubs to fill the back and front pages and not just one.

If Reading and QPR are doomed then I'd sooner see Wigan go the journey. Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle are clubs that have fans deserving of top flight football with 40 to 50,000 followers. Wigan struggle to attract 12,000.

I want to see the likes of Leeds Utd back in the top flight soon too as they are games that stir the blood unlike Wigan who simply don't.

The party spoilers are/could be QPR. They have Wigan, Reading Stoke and Newcastle to play. By winning those games they keep those there or thereabouts within their striking distance. They have all to play for and 'Arry has them believing - their own faults they lost to Fulham recently.

Even if QPR win all of those (which i cant see it) they will be on 35 points which means we only need 4 points as we have a lot better GD than them and the 4 they play will have 3 less points so less for us to catch.

Lots and lots of permutations yet, but QPR winning those games doesnt really bother me as Wigan have a hell of a run in as well, if we finish 17th i will be content but as long as we are 17th with no chance of 18th before the last game of the season.

Think we will be lucky not to go to the last game, just hope someone has a tougher last game than us, like villa and Wigan can't both win, our realistic and more expected win games are third and second last, stoke, Southampton. Want something of mags, obvious to say but we needs points sooner than later, yeh yeh as long as we get them before anyone starts
