Always rated the remake of Cape Fear with Robert de Niro and Juliette Lewis, saw it at the cinema and it was brilliant. A lot of horror is overrated, there was that Aussie film a few years ago about the outback serial killer thought it was a load of rubbish to be honest but a lot of people rate it, can't remember the name. Misery is good will have to re-watch that
(edit- was Wolf Creek, been out for quite a while now)

Most scarred i've ever been watching a film was whilst watching Blair Witch project, bear in mind at the time we lived in the arse end of nowhere and it was pitch black outside, there were about 3-4 of us in the room, right at the end when they're in the abandoned building with the hand prints on the wall my twat of a sister had just got home from work and walking up the drive saw through the window what we were watching, so she waited for the opportune moment before she banged on the window from outside. Think we all hit the roof!
