He was a very good player, the rest of the team were just nowhere near his level and were just used to punting it 40 yards up field.
It was no surprise when I learned he was a forward when Wolves signed him and only went in goal because they didnt have enough keepers. Truly awful, he didnt get near anything. Tony Roberts did my head in, he was terrible too but stuck around forever.
