Ummmm, maybe. There's no doubt Owen brought the dressing room down with his **** attitude, and the it can't have made the other players happy knowing the fortune he was on to be ****. Still the characters needed to be stronger and tell him to stop being a ****, this only happened when we went down when the likes of Nolan, Colo, Enrique etc became vocal and said if you don't wanna be here **** off. It's easy to blame Owen for everything, and he's partially to blame, but Duff was still too much of a freeloader.
I recall a game against Villa away when Duff was bloody awful; you may remember the one I'm talking about.
