I don't understand why he came on for Sturridge... not looked at who else was on the bench. Was Sturridge that tired- worried about his injury?
Sturridge offers more in attack than Moses- and offers more in retaining and retrieving the ball than Moses. The substitution did not strengthen the team in any way. I could understand a defensive substitution at that point in time- or indeed an attacking substitution that gave us another option. A midfielder is what we really needed at that point.
The Moses substitution didn't help us in anyway- it weakened us. I don't understand what it was meant to accomplish.
