I play locally in a covers band and we do all sorts of stuff, from standards like Mustang Sally up to Foofighters and kings of Leon etc. We're crap, but it gives me a chance to play LOUD without some concertina player whining in my ear to turn it down. You guys won't mind it loud , will you? By the way, Hornette, you don't have to do the beer maid thing around morris, you can dance. Lots of women dance morris. There is a small group of dinosaurs called the Morris Ring who insist that only men can dance the morris. The rest of the morris world just laughs at them. I'd love to. Got to get strong enough first though. A while back I was looking at the beginning of next season for my return to live football, but that's looking a bit further off now- slow recovery. In the mean time, if we're going to do the band thing properly we need to put together a set list. Everybody gets a say. My first vote is for 'Brown Sugar' cos I learned how easy it is to do totally authentically in the open tuning that Keef uses. Sounds brilliant.

It would be amazing to get a band together!! I've been asked to sing for a band in November, i've never fronted a band before, should be a giggle! i'm looking forward to it I have no idea what i'll be singing, but i don't care, i love singing! lol I'm not the world's best singer, but i'm okay lol
