Just because someone sends in a cv doesn't mean you sign them without having an actual look at him...
Just getting a trial means nowt. You have to show your worth, and be lucky on the trial too. Best of luck with it Kissa, give it everything, I hope it really works out, and maybe you can be the next Martyn for LUFC What I don't really understand is the scouting for kids system in the UK. My son plays for U17s in Harrogate league, and his team has some absolutely phenomenal players, and they deliver week in week out, yet get to a trial and because they play as team players, not just as individuals, the others at the trials never pass the ball except between their own mates. It's very frustrating to see such good lads not even getting an opportunity when we see the kind of cart-horses that do get through the system
I bet not many people are as daft as me and take time out to watch pretty much any football I can and then send a letter to the manager. Some sort of acknowledgment would have been nice I mean he has a secretary who could write back. Not my fault I felt our current scouts where failing miserably. We will see where these players end up and the value of them
I agree our scouting system is terrible, but I can see that in today's day and age of agents, managers won't act upon a simple letter from a fan, whatever they say about themselves. Probably need to send in a DVD of the players in various situations highlighting their good points and areas for improvement, alongside a checklist of what they are good at, their playing style, etc, and their background
Managers reply to Leeds60 and to be honest his eye for a player has been much better than Harveys & co! Lets hope BM has some say in who comes or goes or he is working with a hand tied behind his back. The guy has a real eye for lower league talent. I live about 30 miles from Reading so know a lot of there fans and not one of them has a bad word to say about the fella. Lets hope he can replicate what he done with them at a new club which he hasnt been around. At least he gets a full pre season & gets to how the players perform for the rest of the season enabling him to make the team his own. He wont get millions but he buys well, trusts youth & players with wingers & realisticly I think thats all we can hope for at the moment. Bet we dont go on a pre season tour of Cornwall either. Warning bells should have been ringing then.

To be fair Warnock did a similar preseason tour before QPR's Championship winning season, so can see why he stuck with what he knew.
