I have got to admit that i like how NW is slotting players in, Tonge seems to be rising to the task, Byram looks good the 3 times live i have watched him, Austin is just consistant, but it seems to be Diouf who is the big suprise, may it long continue........MOT
David Haigh, Deputy CEO of Dubai-based GFH Capital, has expressed frustration at his inability shed more light on the ongoing negotiations to acquire Leeds United Football Club – and counter recent newspaper stories that have cast doubt on the company’s financial means. A number of articles in the British and Emirati press had raised questions about the funding of the deal, and about the fortunes of Bahraini Islamic investment bank Gulf Finance House, GFH Capital’s parent company. Speculation has suggested that any purchase of Leeds, currently 9th in the Championship, could load debt on the club in the manner the Glazers’ leveraged purchase of Manchester United. “It’s frustrating that we can’t be open about the deal due to the confidentiality agreement that’s in place,” Haigh told Sport360 during a face-to-face meeting this morning. “And you can see I’m frustrated! “There have been a lot of stories about funding and debt and so on that we’d love to answer, but we’re just not in a position to do so. Needless to say, very little of what has been reported is accurate.”
Morning all - Not sure about changes, we make them and lose we will blame tinkering with the team, we keep the same team and lose and we will blame tiredness.
Another obstacle for GFH may also be the teams current form. While were still generating money from Cup runs and doing well in the league, and now with players coming back from injury, Bates may be tempted to drag his heels even longer in the hope we can get promotion with him still in charge. Hope IM wrong
go for it buddy. If one pops up on the Bolton board (not sure its well used) we can always send them a link
Its more of a worry about him picking up an injury later in the game for me. your right though, he is probably in the best shape out of the whole squad.
Are you gonna be the one to tell Austin there's someone in the team thats fitter or stronger....? I daren't
Brown is one of the fittest players we've got. Does nobody remember last season when we were concerned about the same issue, after playing a few too many games we played Forest at home on a Tuesday and had no options for rotation, so it was the same team for about 5 matches in 2 weeks. Everyone was knackered that match, except Brown. Brown was the most energetic player on the pitch.
Didn't Kewell nearly sign for Swindon, but they turned him down? Brown is prob one of the fittest player we have
