Any one else noticed we're having an easier time cutting the deadwood? How much of that do you think is down to no longer having bates veto outgoing players because "they aren't offering enough"
Sounds like we get a good deal, as long as the new bloke can stay on his feet more than Becchio, can hold the ball up better than him, can move faster than him as well as score the goals, plus we get a million quid. i'd say that was good business wouldn't you. Bucks, Harry has just been arrested for kerb crawling, so won't see him with his head out of the window again
Still got a lot of deadwood that won't move because they know the wages they're on here eclipse any they'll earn elsewhere
Sorry to be ever the pessimist, guys, but a lot of people are whooping like we've signed a new striker. We haven't - we've only done a swap & made a little money on the deal. We still haven't made any out & out signings yet! Only marginally better than previous windows as we haven't had a net loss, so to speak. Still got my fingers crossed! ..... ans still can't get any work done! Imagine a pessimist being as excited as a kiddie on Xmas eve!
If we don't sign at least 2 more players today GFH will be as low down as bates in my estimations. Fed us just as much bullshit building us up for the Transfer Window
We normally sell one of our star players and then fail to sign a replacement. So far we've sold a star player and replaced him adequately, on paper at least.
Isn't that exactly what I said? We haven't added to the squad, only replaced someone. Which is better than previous windows. Still nothing to whoop about, though. GFH aren't exactly throwing their money around, are they? They've made money so far, so only marginally better than bates.
Aide, Morison cost £2.1mwhen he was bought by Norwich hope we get Burke but not overjoyed over Warnock from Villa although Oneil bought him !
All our deadwood is currently either on loan or injured. I'd say that's better than the summer where they just sat around collecting a wage.
