A few rumours doing the rounds that Alex McCarthy (apparantly a Leeds fan) will join us this Summer, and Kenny will be sold asap....
I would love it if this happened. 6 clean sheets in not many games for us unlikely to happen though he's far too good for us

I thought McCarthy was off to Liverpool along with Alex Peace. Supposedly Reina wants to go back to Spain so they need a new first choice goal keeper. Eire you do right mate, we're probably going to be linked with everyone this summer and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a good few links players going out.
I doubt liverpool will want Alex Pearce, he's not been playing that much for Reading recently I don't think. I would be shocked though if McCarthy were to come here, absolutely fantastic goalkeeper
I have a horrid feeling we will all be building our hopes up far too much, I quite expect another season of being linked with players we can't afford and being outdone when it comes to offering wages. I just hope GFH prove me wrong but I am not building my hopes up. The footballers football show was on yesterday, they were stressing the importance of getting targets in as early as possible and how it is harder for teams involved in the playoffs as they do not know what division they will be in etc. They also stated the extra importance as the league starts earlier this year.
