Morning all. The wife got a couple of cards & I got 1. Even our cats went & bought each other a card. Bless their cotton sox. Slghtly worried about how each of them will eat each other's chocs. May have to help them!!!

On Warnock, its when he started slagging off Becchio & why he insisted in playing so much hoofball... & then blaming Becchio.

We'll robably go & win on Sunday now..... or get battered at least 5-0!!!

Roll on next season & a new manager

I'm in the **** again. Last year I splashed out and bought her-indoors a nice card that a bird in my office went and got me, a bottle of fizz and some chocs. Wife was made up and said we shouldn't be spending a load on this sort of stuff now, so we agreed not to bother. This morning she handed me a big card and I said thanks, I thought we weren't bothering anymore, and she said I thought you would have got me a card ...... fookin women

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has decided he does not wish to extend the Everton midfielder's loan move at Elland Road. In the long run it is for the best as playing under Warnock was not doing him any favours but what now for the stumbling starlet?
When Leeds United snapped up Ross Barkley on loan for an initial one-month stint at the start of January they were acquiring a brilliant talent. The Everton teenager had just enjoyed an excellent spell on loan at fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield Wednesday and was hoping to help Leeds push for a promotion place.
His first game came against Barnsley where he performed well despite the poor team performance in that fixture and in his second game he provided an assist for Ross McCormack for the only goal of a 1-0 victory against Bristol City.

After that Leeds faced Cardiff in a tough game and Barkley struggled however it is also key to note that Warnock was using him out wide for that game; not his favoured position.
On the 8[SUP]th[/SUP] of February everything seemed OK. Warnock stated about the potential to take Barkley in for the rest of the season in positive terms perhaps suggesting he had done enough to deserve a longer stint at the club:
"You just don't know with loan situations but we'll see what develops. He's still in my thoughts, very much so."
When the game with Wolves rolled around the next day however he had dropped Barkley from the starting line-up and brought him on for an amount of time only calculable in nano-seconds. Just a few days later and now Warnock has discarded him altogether:
"I'm going to talk to Ross himself and David Moyes, he wasn't in the starting line-up on Saturday so I'm going to have a chat with them. I'm sure we'll decide over the next 24 hours. He has done well, he is a good young lad and he is going to be a top player one day. We'll have to wait and see, not just on Ross but on our targets as well that we are trying to bring in. We are still trying to get a wide player. That's why I had the conversation with David when I knew that he wouldn't be starting against Wolves and we agreed to talk on Tuesday morning."

Gfh own 100%, I don't know where you're getting the idea that they don't from. The only mention of 51% is what the consortium wants to buy, a controlling share. Gfh would make a tidy profit as they have paid only £17million for 100% and would be getting £24 million for 51%, retaining the other 49%

It's people who forget what has already been stated as clearly as you can get. It was made very clear when the takeover happened that 100% of the shares had been purchased.

When GFH completed the takeover of Leeds United in December, it’s believed only 50% of the total fee (around £17m) was paid up front, with subsequent payments to be made at a later date.

If GFH Capital are to sell Leeds United to those reportedly interested in the club, it’s likely that said deal would remain in place. A valuation of around £24m is said to have been placed on a 51% stake, valuing the club at roughly £48m

Wouldn't it really round off a great season to finish with cuddly Ken back in full charge. I'd say there would be Leeds fans jumping from cliffs
