This Saturday around lunch time
While others just prepare,
For their games, we´ll have crossed the line
Against you, in our lair
Now since we met quite early on
In our PL return,
It´s fair to say we´ve come on strong
And been quite quick to learn
And although there´s still a fair way
To those right at the top,
This year we only have plan A
And that´s avoid the drop
And so far I would say, so good
As we start a new year,
Form´s sky high and so we could
With luck take something here
We know the favourite´s role is yours
As it should properly be,
But the gulf that maybe early doors
Was there, is harder to see
And we´ll know much more fairly soon
As regards where we stand,
But points Saturday afternoon
Would give us a big hand
But all us here would take the one
I´m sure, if offered now,
And extend our unbeaten run
To five games in a row
So enjoy both the trip and food
And hospitality,
At the Delia Dome, and don´t go brood
If the score´s not your cup of tea
And whoever has the morning blues
When Sunday comes around,
Let´s hope they can still say, " Fair dues,
The rightful winner was found ".
