i think we will be fine!!!...we didnt have a **** squad just a poor defence so lets hope we are headed in the right direction
Phil thats what I'm hoping for, but do you think we actually have the quality and depth to improve over last seasons 7th? I'm not sure mate. For a start the midfield has to be strong and protect the back 4, and of course the back 4 need need to defend and not panick. All this and still create chances ..... I just wish the club would make a statement and tell us the truth about wages, instead of getting everyones hopes up about 'targets', walking over 'broken glass to play for us', 'only want prem quality players to improve on what we have', and maybe admit that we can't afford some of our targets. At least it will stop everyone from high expectations. The last 2 transfer windows were a joke, due to being told we can expect new players in by the end of the week. This happened whilst we were well into the top 6 in January, and we got battered by Swansea without anyone coming in as promised. How can a club like Norwich go back to back when we floundered. They didn't break the bank, they were just well managed and well drilled with a squad of good players. We hav'nt been able to organise our defence for 2 seasons, so either our coaches are not good enough, the manager doesn't know how to sort his defence, or could it be that our players are more L1 standard than Championship. Yes I know we have some quality, but are they all up to it. We really need last seasons loanees doing what they are capable of, especially Clayton because he has the skill, flair and tenacity to become a top player. He just didn't do it to start with. Is White a defender or a winger? can Lees show the quality he showed out on loan, because if he can he is the new Paddy, is Parker better than Bessone, and Nunez is still an enigma and hope he can light up the freindlies and break through.
Doc, we need two quality signings in mid and def and we will be away with it. More day surgery than a month in intensive care.

Just reading that McClaren at Forest is chasing 8 signings which he'd hoping to get done by Monday. he's gotten rid of 9 and is building a squad to go for it Routledge, Maynard are on the list. Can't see theres going to be much left except for freebies at this stage. Frustrated to hell
