Ante or Sharp for top dog for me, different strikers but given the same game time I think there tally will be about even. That being said Sharp will thrive in a high pressured team firing balls into the box where Ante seems good at drifting in. Hard to say until we see Roslers style. Dukes is a funny one, could excel next season or look even worse!
If we hang around long enough Brendan Rogers will buy Sharpy and Ant, because he obviously doesn't have a Scooby since Suarez left. Danny Ings is ok but he's no Lambert or Ballotelli, and they can't get a kick/game. So Rogers just thinks to buy up every striker of every type with a view to trying to make something happen. Danny Ings will make a few quid and then get sent out on loan Watford or something, but here's hoping we can get Lambert
I still maintain Sharp is the best of a poor bunch, he looks busy, his movement off the ball keeps opposition defenders on their toes having to watch him and I believe he is more of a handful. I would agree give Sharp or Antennucci a full season and either one of them might get up to the 15-18 goals a season mark, the difference would be Sharps presence in the team would probably create a few more chances elsewhere. Again I would like to see all our strikers replaced with top quality prolific goal scorers but it isn't going to happen.
Ristac and the likelyhood of that happening? Mirco and Billy will do a job if given the chances and REDDERS DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT SO HOPING ROSSLER DOES. Billy Sharp has always scored around the 15 mark but he also creates chances, decent target and hold up play so never prolific, but give him a chance. Mirco has always been a cult figure with the fans wherever he's been because he scores, plays wide, and gives 100%, in other words our type of player, but he needs service
Like I said earlier, I am being realistic and I would prefer to see no money spent on another gamble up front and the money used on someone like Joey Barton.
So on the same point of our forward line. Which 15/16 championship team has a worse set of forwards that us in the division? If you can make an argument for more than one team I wouod be surprised... The obvious bigger picture is that it is the quality of the forward line that seperates the wheat from the chaff in this league, it always is.

I would say look at the manager, because if he doesn't know how to service his front man it makes no difference who you have up front. Billy Sharp scores goals and has been wanted by many clubs and has gone to clubs like Southampton and Reading in the prem. Mirco has scored great goals in Italy but is more than a striker if played correctly. I'm hoping Rossler being an ex striker will get the best out of what we have, and we do have a couple of kids to blood in cups too. Big Duke could be the dogs or worse than garbage but until we see how we are going to set up?
Sharp is a good stiker on the whole, he's only not preformed with us and are you suprised with the set up we've had since his arrival. I don't think you could get the best out of any one with the midfield we had last season. Which idiot brings in 100 CMs?
Well I have mentioned how I believe Barton would be great for us more than a few times, someone else has mentioned how good Knockaert would be more than a few times, I agree both have zero chance of joining
What you need to do is write cellino inviting him for dinner and suggest Barton. When he comes can you also point out Messi, Scumrolando, Bale, Costa and Hazard just in case he has missed them.

Far too early. The decent players haven't been snapped up by clubs with a wish to improve. Expect us to be signing our incomers in the last week of the window.
