I think he must be off. Now if we get £4 mill for him and another £4 mill from he take over what do we do. My surprising answer is we do nothing and keep the war chest for next season, and add a bit more to it by getting rid of the donkeys before building a new higher calibre squad.
Zeliukas A rock in defence, a couple of successful last gasp challenges, was winning everything in the air. Surely our man of the man. You really are going for these soppy bollocks awards, aren't you Elland? Wtf is a 'man of the man'?
Regarding the ref. It seems looking up and down the leagues it was a poor day for the officials. Surely by the letter of the law if the incident with McCormack was deemed a foul then it should have been a red card as Broadfoot was the last man, quite clearly as well, and denied a goal scoring opportunity. I still cant get past the lack of substitutions. Has McDermott got no faith in the players on the bench? The game seemed to be calling out for the speed of Poleon or Byram late on. Poleon is the sort of impact sub we should be using this season.
Simple reason why we didn't do so well yesterday - too much long ball. Kenny was the main instigator, Pearce a co-conspirator. Ball goes flying over the heads of the midfield, so little opportunity to pass it around. No surprise that we ran out of steam - we were always chasing to try to get the ball back. As I've mentioned elsewhere, play long ball & expect Rossco to do nothing. There's a clear correlation between the two. Question is - were they acting under orders? I'd like to think not, but unhappy either way. That's 2 'Colin' games we've had in a row now.
No point the 20,000 st holders will get all the tickets. Half season tickets were flying out of er in December.
Cheers, will save the cash for the tickets touts....again. I'm convinced it will be Leeds vs Florist at Wembley.
I honestly think that Pelts is being 'put in the shop window'. Would explain why he hasn't had a wiff of a starting place until a few weeks before the Jan window opens. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same with Pugh as he's contract runs out in the summer. As for Brown, never liked him while he's been with us. If we can swap with some good youngster from the leagues below us or sell him to the likes of Sheff Utd good, if not release on the final day of the window and watch not get a club
I don't think Lees is capable of hitting the ball less than 100 yards. We were on the attack in the second half and the ball came back to him. He proceeded to knock the ball way out into row Z on the side, and the demoralised look on McCormack's face spoke volumes
Broadfoot should have gone. Gutted the ref didn't point at the spot, yeh, it was just outside, but it would have evened out the refs decisions. Hemese, how did you find us?
Had Derby won yesterday, they would have gone second. In their last six games QPR have won 2, drawn 1 and lost three
