    Good Morning Everyone,

    And welcome to another Morning thread from a sizzling Southampton, where yet again we are due for temperatures of 26 / 27 degrees.

    Surely there must be more to this than meets the eye. The internet is rife with rumours that a takeover is imminent..... I think we need to be a bit careful. There are plenty of blood sucking vermin (like our very own KB), that would like to see us sucked dry of every penny, so whilst I'm excited about the hopeful event happening. We must make sure its the right person.

    I hope that at least some of the rumours are true. It would certainly boost the morale at the club if the little man walked the plank. ( no doubt carrying his sack of gold )

    He can just spend the rest of his days abroad keeping away from the tax man.

    Huddersfield wage budget last season 23 million
    Dean Hoyle owner has spent £60 million in 3 seasons
    Hes a huge Town fan
    and sold the card factory for 330million
    His interest alone will probably pay for 8 players on 10k per week

    Alan Lee (striker who was on the bench) is on 15 k per week.

    Im hearing that one of the potential investors of Leeds United is Lawrence Tomlinson of Genetta cars estimated worth of £500 million

    I think we need to keep one foot on the ground, we have seen enough disappointment and although there is no smoke without a fire and although it would make my YEAR if Bates sold out to someone who cared we are talking Ken Bates here, no matter what amount of money is involved in a possible takeover he is a poisonous little old **** and he won't make it easy, there will be some stupid demand in place that any new owner would have trouble dealing with. One thing is for sure, with Ken Bates NOTHING is EVER straight forward.

    Morning all. Get well soon Ken I say..... so he's fit enough to sign over the club to someone with money to take us forward. He can then retire to Monaco or wherever in the knowledge that he helped us continue to exist get so far, but that it now needs a younger owner with a few more pennies & will look to build the team as well as the club.

    Mate of mine that works in the City reckons that him and a few of his buddies have lost a fortune via a couple of construction companies that have gone bust in the last few months - Bates alone is said to have been hit with a seven figure loss <ok>
