Apparantly Leeds Utd have a cash flow crisis BUT there is money for Leeds Utd to launch a costly high court action against West Yorkshire Police regarding costs from the 2009/10 season.

How can we let a player 'going on the cheap' through our gasp, surely its good business......

As reported yesterday McCormack is wanted by both West Ham and Bolton with a fee of 2.5m being touted about. Agreed, 2.5m sounds high but IF we could get a fee of over 2m, and buy someone like Beckford who would have to take a huge drop in wages, why not. Who is more prolific, McCormack or Beckford???

Anybody see the worst England XI yesterday on Sky. Leeds made up most of the midfield with Carlton (I have no ball control) Palmer and Steve (I want Maradona's shirt) Hodge making the squad and Seth (Did someone really pay 7.5m for me) Johnson narrowly being pipped by thug Joey Barton.

Money, money, money. As much as I dislike them and their monetary route to success, I just want to say a big thank you to Chelsea. Now Bayern Munich know what it's like to be robbed of the European Cup.
 
Ouch Wickersley. Cosmic, not nice. They may not have been everyone's cup of tea, but for those of us around in the 70s & 80s, they were guaranteed to fill a dance floor... & their music didn't require auto tuning.

Anyway, back to the footy. Any possibility that Spurs will seek to complain about them now getting only a Europa League place? As I've mentioned before, there is prescedent here with Liverpool in 2006.

For those with access to Twitter, any news on incomings?
 
I think Uefa had to bend their own rules in 2006 Boggers, that loophole has now been closed and firm rules put in place. Spurs will not be allowed to play in the Champions league but it would be amusing to see them try (and fail) to appeal.

Never like the Beegees really. Although I can appreciate they were probably the premier dentally endowed, long-haired falsetto three peice to emerge from the Isle of Man in the early 70's.

I'm sure I read a couple of days ago that FIFA rules will still apply, so there will be compensation - but not as much as if he moves to an english club.

due to our academy status I would guess we would receive 200k-450k for him.

Pure guess work as its a new system & I haven&#8217;t seen anyone move yet, but it wont be like the other two kids we got a couple of mill from Chelsea for.
 
Twitter Rumour that Warnock has quit

Hope theres nothing in it, but the news about Whites contract could have done it. Warnock & White had agreed a deal & just needed Bates to sanction it.

We would be reet in the **** IMO if Warnock left now leaving Bates to pull apart the squad and blame Warnock for not having the bottle to see the job through <yikes>


As I said though, only a twitter rumour <ok>
 
I don't do twitter, so I don't know. But the agreement Bates had with Warnock was that Bates would back Warnock & Warnock would reduce the size of the playing squad. We all know that Warnock won't take any SH£T, as he doesn't need to & can simly walk away & retire. This might all be a rumour, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was true.

Let's hope not, & it was just some 'Wall troll winding us all up in this quiet period!!!
