Reading will be without striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, who serves a one-game ban after his sending-off against Brighton. Nick Blackman will replace him, while left-back Wayne Bridge could start after recovering from a knee problem. Leeds right-back Sam Byram could make his first start of the season after recovering from a hip injury, and may replace Lee Peltier, who limped off against Bolton with a groin problem. Former Reading striker Noel Hunt should start in attack for the visitors. MATCH FACTS Head-to-head • This is only the 15th league meeting between Reading and Leeds. • Although the West Yorkshire club lead five wins to three, Reading did the double over them in their promotion season from the Championship in 2011-12. • Leeds have never won at the Madejski Stadium. Reading • Reading, unbeaten at home in the league this season, are chasing a third league win of 2013-14 but have only managed one in the last five outings. • The Royals are attempting to secure a 15th victory from their past 20 matches at this level. • They are also aiming for a third successive clean sheet, which they have not achieved in the league since a run of five in a row in February 2012 on their way to promotion to the Premier League. Leeds United • Brian McDermott takes his Leeds side back to his old club for the first time since leaving in March. • Leeds are looking for a fourth win of the season, which would keep their unbeaten away league record intact, having only conceded one goal from three games on the road. • The Whites also boast the best disciplinary record in the Championship (five yellow cards).
Are there any Reading fans in the ground? All I can hear is MOT & plenty of other stuff from the travelling Kop
I dont think they've been great all season atmosphere wise. Maybe the fans feel a little deflated after relegation, who knows
Well I'm sitting in the home end and they must be the gayest set of supporters outside of Brighton - and within earshot of the poxy drummer
