When I was a junior in college, I captained a coed intramural team. We advanced to the league final, having won our three playoff matches via forfeit when our opponents didn't turn up. We actually had to play in the final, and with me in goal, we lost 17-0. The worst part was having to go through the handshake line at the end and hearing the other teams say that we played a "good game," which we clearly didn't.
