Agree with that Eire, but do you remember when we had constant debates about Beckford's goal/chances conversion ratio? We estimated that he took a goal from every 5 chances, and he got a lot of chances, because he created a lot himself or was too single minded to lay it off. I wonder if anyone has a comparison for Liciano's conversion ratio. I bet it would be better because he doesn't get the chances Jermaine got and is nowhere near as quick, but is he as instinctive as Beckford?
We've been doing the same every time we sell a good un. Johnson, Howson, Beckford, Max all got their fair share of slagging off for being, too slow, greedy, couldn't shoot or whatever. Personally I'd take every one of them back as with every departure we've been weakened. Becchio has his faults but it'll cost a lot to replace a 29 year old striker who will probably bag 30 goals with **** service
