Not good enough. If we sell Becchio for him we havent moved on. Slag Becchio off all you like but Doyle wont hit 17 for us in a season. Better of keeping Keogh than bringing in Doyle IMO. Just **** off Warnock now if this is the type of player you want playing in front of 4/5 central midfielders. And yes, I know to take every player we are linked with, with a pinch of salt.
Birmingham will asses Jonathan Spector and Callum Reilly before the game. Spector replaced midfielder Reilly, who scored his first goal for Birmingham in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Huddersfield, but was forced off at half-time having struggled with illness in the build-up to the fixture. Spector then suffered a recurrence of the ankle injury which had ruled him out previously. On-loan winger Robert Hall has been denied permission to play by parent club West Ham, while Akwasi Asante, Papa Bouba Diop, Darren Ambrose, Hayden Mullins, David Murphy, Stephen Carr and Will Packwood all continue to be ruled out through injury. Marlon King, Nikola Zigic and Peter Lovenkrands joined Spector in having returned from injury and suspension to make the bench against Town at the weekend, and the attacking trio will be in contention once again. Leeds will be without latest signings Michael Tonge and Ross Barkley. Tonge signed a permanent deal and Barkley joined on a month-long loan from Everton last week in time to appear in the weekend defeat at Barnsley, but neither player is eligible as they signed for the club after the initial 1-1 draw with the Blues at Elland Road. Both Aidy White and Paul Green could be recalled to the Leeds midfield. Adam Drury is expected to return to the squad after missing out on Saturday through illness, while fellow defender Tom Lees is pushing for a recall as Leeds look to secure a fourth-round home tie against Tottenham.
Apparently he's ill. Just listening to LUTV & Yorkshire radio. Please can someone tell Eddie Gray to stop saying "you know". Over 100 so far. Its terrible
Try listening to how many times he sniffs and starts a sentence with 'well' All can be forgiven though, also he doesn't seem to keen on Warnock, he certainly doesnt back him like he did Grayson.
Thought provoking tweet tonight on this very subject ... Lufc4Life ‏@DannyShiels Becchio out, haigh and Patel on a sponsored silence. All seems very suspicious. At least us fans stay true to our club
This is becoming an all too depressing ground hog day situation. Still at least Torquay were winning last time I looked. Blimey...have we just scored?
