Like Supers said, we want what's best for the club. Just trying to be positive. That's what we need to be aiming for. I wasn't suggesting that it will be immediate thing, but the club needs to progress year on year, just as it has the over the last three years, has to progress in fact. I personally think we have the capacity to equal Sunderland.

i just think some people are more realistic than others. i'm a realist. i'd love nothing more than for us to win trophies and compete in europe on a regular basis but football doesn't work like that for clubs such as norwich. when the good times are here, and for city, they are certainly here right now, they should be relished and enjoyed. norwich are not a massive club in england - they are a decent size club with excellent support with the ambition to better itself in the future and become a bigger club with a bigger infrastructure, but the club nearly went bust two and a half years ago and for people to demand so much of the club in such a short space of time is extremely unrealistic. we have already been treated to unbridled joy over the last three years and i am not alone in thinking that some people are getting way too carried away with what the club has done and are losing a grip on reality. the reality is, we are very lucky to have a football club at all and for it to be performing so well is pretty astonishing - a couple of bad results changes nothing - its been a remarkable season - AGAIN!

I'm liking the more argumentative stance on here it's great to get on but wouldn't it be boring if we all thought the same? The occasional different opinion is healthy. Redruthyella I agree about the library bit I go to game to watch Football not the Opera, those in other stands who want to make some noise I suggest you do so, if someone challenges you ignore them or tell them to put up with it if more people had this attitude Carrow Road would be a lot louder.

As for this Morison saga I think everyone should keep off his case for a bit.

Must admit I don't really get all the moaning about Morrison, he's not alot different now to the start of the season. He's still slow, still just an aerial threat, his touch was atrocius in September and it still is. The thing that gets my goat is the berating of his effort, he's just slow and cumbersome which makes him look lazy. Moan about his skills if anything, thats where the problem lies, I understand he has the lowest pass success rate in the Division. I think he's getting found out to be honest with his limitations on the ball, if he's not scoring with headers like at the start of the season then theres not alot of point in playing him. As for him swearing at a fan, I'm sure the fan was less than complementary about him so as far as I'm concerned he can say what he wants back. Football fans are some of the dumbest creatures on Earth, if one shouted abuse at me I'd feel entitled to say something back.

As for kick it off moaning about Wilbrahimovich, I have no idea what he is on, talking absolute ****e.

He does exactly what is asked of him, wins headers and sets up chances and no one can doubt that. He had the beating of Man City (have no idea why Lambert took him of, he was my MOM at the time, subsequently when he went off we never threatened them again) and whenever I see him play 90% of the time he's come on and made a difference. He is a real target man, what do these people expect from a free transfer from League One. He's certainly suprised me as to how well he has played in some games. I don't generally like these types of players but he brings a bit of a smile to my face when he plays.

I've never really been a fan of Morison, these players are ten a penny, all shoulders and elbows, there are thousands of them in this country. I wouldn't be upset if he left, the suprise element has gone for next year so perhaps we should invest more in smaller, technical players for next year.

    Wilbraham can stay, he's cool.

Carrabuh - I know we've had our moments you and I, on the old 606 and on 12 yards, but I have to say, that is by far, the best post I've ever seen by you! Thank you and well said!

Please don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed these last three years as much as anyone, it has been a miracle. What I was trying to put across originally, obviously not very well, is that I would like to see us eventually become a top half premiership club. I most certainly didn't mean to imply that I expected it next season or the near future, but I do believe that if we progress year on year, just as we have been doing, then it is achievable.

Morison cost less than 10% of Andy Carroll's transfer fee, yet has scored more top flight goals so far this season.

Norwich are dining at football's top table for the first time in seven years and have made a majestic fist of doing so - via back to back promotions<ok>

If one or two of the constituent parts of our squad need replacing or becoming 'bench' players, wouldn't we all be better off letting Paul Lambert decide, rather than engaging in stuff which is much more likely to disrupt things rather than improve them <ok>

You were the one doing the name calling.
There you go again!!!!!!!! I'm wrong and you of course are always right, as is everyone who doesn't bow down to your views and superior attitude.
"I once did some scouting, so therefore I know more about anything than anyone else". You mock me and my job and position? It's management of people that I do best, yet you constantly give forth your uneducated views on that subject, and tell me that I'm wrong! My god your attitude is so unbelievable it's well.......unbelievable.
I won't go down to your level and call you names, but one day when you grow up and get a proper job, with people under you who rely on your decisions day to day, then come back and preach at me, I might even listen then!
In the mean time try to realise that other people have different views to yours, it doesn't mean they are wrong or ignorant or shouldn't have a platform for their views.
The worst supporter ever of Norwich City, is looking forward to the Liverpool game, the Arsenal game and the Aston Villa game, hoping for a few more points to swell our coffers, I will no doubt applaud my team off at the end of those games, unlike Steve Morison who doesn't even acknowledge the fantasic support that the true fans of our club give every week.
Sorry to come back this morning Superman, you had a whole evening without me (thank god) to brainwash and berate others who have a different view. I hope you used it wisely?

    **** ME!! <doh>

do you ever read anything correctly?!?! i was agreeing to stop the name calling.

honestly ILD, do you come on here purely to argue with me?

i hope you don't mind but i didn't bother reading past that first line... nothing you say can be taken seriously

Sorry Rich44, but Myself and all the other fans of our club contribute to his salary, it gives us a vested interest in how he and the others perform! I've watched nearly all our games this season so I have seen him at work, he hasn't seen me, or pays anything towards my salary.

You don't need to apologise to me, we all have different views and see different things, your opinion is a valid as mine.

Excuse me???? You accuse me of not reading things correctly.
I entirely agree with your last statement, I don't take much you say as being serious either.
NO I don't come on here just to argue with you, you're not that important, even though you think you are.
I come on here like all other fans/supporters to post MY views and observations, which, I believe that's what this forum is for, you don't have to agree with me or like what I write, but, you can be sensible and reasonable in your reply's, like Wonky & Rich for example, they obviously don't agree with me, but put forward a reasoned argument!
I don't see much point continuing posting on this thread, I've said what I wanted to say about the core subject, and would like to say sorry to the originator of the thread for being part of it's de-generation to what it's become! Sorry.

I find it completely unacceptable to suggest that another club or sport might be an alternative.
Do people really believe we don't give a tinkers cuss about the club? Totally wrong assumption. When you have a grandson named after IMO Norwichs greatest ever servant, when you have literally had your blood spilt at an away game, when you spend as much money possible on strips etc because you can't get to games as you live outside of Norfolk, when you fall out big style with your missus and mother in law because you interrupt your honeymoon so you can travel to Leeds to a cup replay but you have the temerity to think that Morison is playing crap and disagree with people who think he isn't then you obviously aren't a real supporter!

i am genuinely ashamed of some of the people who call themselves norwich city fans on here and elsewhere. they seem to have the feeling that they own the club because they pay their money, therefore they can say and do what they please with our players and our fans. well you don't own or run the club, you don't pick the team, you don't choose who plays for the club and you sure as hell don't have the right to dish out abuse to someone who represents us on the pitch, just because he has a bad game or a bad spell of games. you're all ****ing dickheads as far as i'm concerned and you don't deserve a football club you support to be successful if you aren't prepared to back it and the players when things don't go according to plan. ****ing hell, imagine what some of you must have been like when we were doing badly... i shudder at the thought. we have one of our best teams in years and years - give them your backing or **** off as far as i'm concerned <ok>

Well, Mr Carrbuh, you are entitled to your opinion as am I. Being of sound mind and not 'on' anything thankyou very much, I still think that Wilbraham is not good enough to play for Norwich City end of. He is Championship quality at best and needs to be moved on that's all I'm saying, it's my opinion. He seems a nice lad, he's certainly a tryer, (unlike Morison), but that is not good enough I'm afraid. We can do much better that's the point, I'm just glad we have a ruthless CEO who is forward thinking and is trying to ditch the 'little old' Norwich attitude <ok>
