Morison eyes Gillingham move.
Gills manager Martin Allen has handed a striker with Premier League experience a trial with the Gills.
Striker Steve Morison of Norwich
has had a bust up with his new manager Houghton and has asked for permission to train and trial with the Gills
The 23-year-old was recommended to Allen by an agent and once the Gills boss had checked out the player’s CV he jumped at the chance to take a look.
"He will do alright," said Allen, the striker’s up for the challenge for the Gills.
Morison played for Millwall between 2008 and 2011 and last season was with Norwich in the top flight where he scored 8 goals where he gained experience in the Premier League.
"He is strong and he’s quick," said Allen.
"He came in and trained with us on Friday and Saturday and he did listen to me that’s for sure! We will have to have a chat about him and what he can do."
