I heard (havent see it) that Morgan has a Saints tattoo on his upper arm. I also understand he is very happy at Saints.
TBH given where we were a few years ago you wouldnt have been surprised him leaving, but I think he loves the club (with or without tattoo).
Morgan, Kelvin and Adam are the only ones left from say 3 years ago arent they. Part of the core.

lee holmes as well

It's actually more important to have someone like Morgan in against hard working teams (like Reading) as it is even more important to keep possession and the ball moving with crisp, sharp passing. I think he was missed against Reading for that very reason. If you have workers against workers it becomes a battle and a midfield "grind".

His ability to keep the ball moving to a red and White shirt is key then.

Yes I agree he was missed against Reading, but I believe tackling isn't a strong point of his, whereas say Hammond provides us with this whilst Morg provides us with control and fluidity. To be able to have to choose from 4 central midfielders is quite a luxury though!

5 if you include chaplow, who i think is our best player so far this season.

It was not ment to be a slur so sorry if you took offence.
What i ment to meen is that most french players are relaxed a little to much in some games. Like henry and even zidane one game they would sparkle then the next couple look lazy or to chilled out.
And there's no point bringing the England team into it as we all know their ****. <laugh>

Cheers Jean. All great players drift in and out. Le Tiss did it; Channon did it and so on. Guly takes stick, but that flick against Reading for the Steve De Ridder run is why he is always worth playing. As someone said, Morgan is a great buy and we'll be rewarded by watching the development of an extremely talented player. On se plait, Morgan!

None of our midfield combos are to shabby we have players in this area who offer all types of qualities. I do however remember seeing Morgan at close hand in a friendly at Basingstoke just after his arrival from France and was gobsmacked at his range and accuracy of passing and it was easy to see why we spent quite a sum on someone so young and personally i am always happy when he starts for us

Apparently Spider took it upon himself to look after Ward-Prowse on Tuesday, compare that with the attitude of Puncheon towards Oxo, if the rumours of bullying were true?

They weren't. Most Saints fans still believe that rumour because they have a vendetta against Punch... The boys actually got on really well with eachother - The problem was that Punch didn't like how a 17 year old was immediately ahead of him in the pecking order without him himself getting a chance to prove his ability to Adkins... Which he 'voiced his opinion' about.

But there was never a personal problem between Chambo & Punch. When it comes to Puncheon & some of the other lads though, well that's a completely different story.

Anyway Morgan is different class and I love him, I bladdy well hope he starts on Saturday.

There is an article on skysports.com saying that how much Morgan is enjoying life under Nigel and fighting for his place and for being allowed to play a passsing game instead of hoofing by Pardew and chasing the 2nd ball............sounds good to me.

Morgan was probably right to be annoyed at being knocked out of the CC Tuesday, we would have been playing at Old Trafford next round!
