If that's the Sissoko I can think of, it wouldn't be a contest between him and Morgan. Morgan all the way. I think Schneiderlin can just enjoy it. I'd be very surprised indeed if his time isn't coming. The Euros are round the corner, and as soon as he gets in the French squad, only injury will keep him out.
I'd probably say that's more of a Nasri replacement than Schneiderlin. He's probably behind Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi and Mavuba - Mavuba is the only one of them you'd really have an argument in favour of Morgan to replace.
I think the most important thing is that Morgan has his foot in the door...he must have thought he was invisible. Barring accidents to other players, his aim must be the Euros.
Opens the door for his inclusion for the next Euro Championships as there will no doubt be a fair few retirements from internationals, dear performances etc which will give him a era; chance Fingers crossed for him as he deserves the opportunity
It's actually one of the saner things UEFA have done - basically Group I only has 5 teams as opposed to every other group that have 6 teams. France play all their friendlies against the teams in group I on the dates that they would otherwise not be playing a qualifier. This makes it fairer on teams in the other groups who don't have 'spare' dates.
