The only mention I can find of this is on that Man City Blue Moon forum. No other searches on the internet bring up anything for me. I'm inclined to think this is a piece of fiction also.

"piece of fiction". On this forum? You cannot be serious. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

"Fiction",and not just pieces of it,is the life blood of quite a few regular posters hereabouts.

If it's one thing Jenkins and the board have excelled at the past few seasons, it's making a bumpy carpet .

I very much doubt it is true, and having seen photo's of Dyer's wife Laura, she would have to be pretty desperate to look at Martin Morgan..........<ok>

Well that sounds a bit of a load of bollocks to me as if he has filed for divorce until it is finalised it isnt public record. As for it being in London my understanding is that they have to file in the county either 1 or both are currently residing in. I also wonder how old this is as Brendans divorce was finalised and maintenance costs etc were agreed 3 weeks ago.

Whatever the right or wrongs over the past months, what is very clear is that our Chairman and Directors appear to have been sleepwalking towards the edge of the cliff. Why on earth has the Chairman and a Director apparently travelled to South America to chase a Manager( who apparently is a top man) but will cost the club big bucks to sign and maintain, should he bring his coaching team with him. This man cannot speak good english and does not have a work visa.
We must remember who we are as a club. We have excelled under Jenkins and Co but we need to be realistic in who we can afford and get someone in place with previous premiership experience.
As for Mr JENKINS my advice is to hire a human thermometer who keeps a low profile in the club and knows everything that is going down and to nip things in the bud and mediate if necessary.
An absolute must for the new Manager apart from his coaching ability is his man managements skills.( Distance between he and his staff and a (take no **** attitude). Meanwhile certain other individuals have to take responsibility at the club Lead by example not to disgrace yourself and the club..
I am afraid that in respect of discipline at our club it would appear that a lot of tails are wagging the dog. Enough is enough.

Be careful what you assume happened and then put names to those assumptions .

I wonder what Dyer's wife sees in multi-millionaire hotel owner Martin Morgan? <laugh>

Who will offer the truth to settle this one way or another....Mor.gan could by coming out and saying all these rumours are horseshit as I'm sure he knows of the rumours making the rounds .
By saying his divorce and Dyers divorce are unrelated .By saying Dyer being loaned out had only to do with not being needed at the club .
It's a lot easier to hide the truth if your guilty than it is to find the truth if your suspicious.
I only bring this thread up again as I got in a bit of trouble JOINING IN on a thread that was bushwhacked and was unrelated to this one .
I wouldn't even bring this one back up or join in on the other one but while some are defending the rights of the POSSIBLE guilty party I am only interested in a loyal and terrific player , Dyer , and won't rest till his interests are kept in mind as rights are discussed .
If no one says anything about this POSSIBLE travesty , I won't either and will quietly believe what I feel is the very stinky truth .

no smoke with out fire and all that and would explain why dyer who was not playing well shipped out to a team like Leicester..........Why would any premiership team want a player who was not in the side and showing the form he has when he did play........It just don't happen like that so there must be a reason and a cover up...

If not for our quick , great start last season when we won our first 3 games out of the gate , there might not be our best points total ever in the Premier .
In those first 3 Premier League games , Dyer scored 3 goals .Does that sound like a washed up player ?
If Dyer was sent out on loan because of age , I guess Britton and Rangel should have too ....thank God they weren't .Dyer started 23 games last season and I think subbed 8 or 9 .
Then suddenly sent out on loan this season , sorry folks , it just don't add up without giving off a foul odor .

I hears that the players weren't happy that Monk took the clubs side instead of backing dyer over it which would sit with the dip in form and Jenkins had to make a decision which meant monk was the fall guy
