Thankfully my prediction was wrong and we managed to come away with all three points sounded like we played well at times and three different players on the score sheet which is always good to see and it will take a bit of pressure of harrald to always get the goals but still very concerned about the goals we're letting in I still think we need another CB preferably one with experience at this level and div 1. Onwards and upwards this time I hope.
Tough game mate. Lets hope the gas win their next couple of games and get into the top 3. The Shrews deserve to go up after many a year failing at the final hurdle, so it be nice to see them go up. The gas need to be in league one at least by the time the new stadium arrives so that we can push on again
and we want you with us when we go up, so get a move on please, gas just 2 points away from the playoffs
We have not given up yet despite the result. I did think we could have got a point if we had not missed a open goal & hit the post but fair play to the Gas you hung on for all three points. Our run had to come to an end sometime. Did you try the chicken, Ham & Leek pie? All the best for the season.
we want you too. that would be a easy 12 points for us. 6 from city who will be in league 1 and 6 points from the shrews
I thought we just deserved the win by one goal. We had some good penalty appeals turned down, but they missed some chances. Our three goals were all excellent, and it's good that three different players scored. If only Anthony would cut out his one (at least) daft, reckless challenge per game. I actually thought it was inside the area, but they scored anyway! Bolger gets better and better, and Harrold consistently puts in a hard working shift. Woodards doesn't get mentioned much but he is a very reliable FB. A large contingent of Rovers fans in the 2,500. (Any news of Virgo?)
Got to say, great win for you boys, we scored our first home goal, is it the start of an unbeaten run, hope so.
