What's this all about then? https://www.gov.uk/state-pension/eligibility [h=2]Transsexual people[/h] Your State Pension might be affected if you’re transsexual and you: were born between 24 December 1919 and 3 April 1945
It's making sense now - all you have to do is get your baws cut off and you can claim the pension 5 years earlier. Result
Not transexual but did calculator thingy and with my ten years contributions I'll get £110.15,say I lived for 10 years collecting it (£50,000),is there any chance I could get it now?
None. Actuarial calculations are based upon a certain age being reached, you are far too young and are likely to live for more than 10 years, hence they would lose money on you.
I know what you mean but I heard that you could take a lump sum but then you could never come back to them,is that true?
I used to work in pensions and i've never heard of that. The only way you can get money out is by transferring it to another scheme, 50 is about the earliest you can take a pension unless you retire through ill health.
Yer man must have been talking ****e and as far as I know contributions in the UK are taking into consideration in the Republic when that time comes.I'll have to wait till then but by then there'll be **** all state pensions in either country.
**** retiring. I've had some sort of job since I was 12. I don't want to retire and end up in some sort of nursing home within 5yrs. Work until death. YEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA
Sorry, no. I have quite a number of work related pensions and in 18 years time I will be able to cash them in.
I think they were supposed to stop giving any money to England, Northern Ireland and Wales between now and September 2014 in order to make Scots vote no.
