This rumour’s been doing the rounds for months, they said at the Supporters Committee meeting that it’s bollocks. Though they also said other things that subsequently turned out to be bollocks.
Its been a dogs dinner from start to finish. We have fractions of fans in the East, West and North stands now of a 'similar sort'. I just think it would be better if everyone went back to the East Stand, well, those that wanted to. We even had this at Boothferry Park with the Kempton and those who stopped in the South Stand. It splits our vocal support. Other clubs have one stand where the majority of the vocal support comes from and I just think we are a bit all over the place at the moment, especially more so when the crowds are dwindling.
I don’t disagree at all I just think North works better as the noisy bit. More stand all game than used to in East And the acoustics seem better, but I take your point
Indeed, Ehab has achieved exactly what he wants. The whole reason for removing concessions was, according to Ehab was a small percentage cheating the system. So if 1% were buying concession tickets, then with saw an average of 18,000 then 180 were cheating the club out of the difference between a concession price and a full price. Now he has managed to succeed in eliminating these cheats who cost the club approximately 180 x £200 = £36,000, by 10,000 people not attending, x say £300 = £3,000,000. Great economics Ehab. Figures are just a rough estimate.
Won’t matter next season if the fans all sit together or they don’t as with only 6,000 to 7,000 been there the atmosphere will be **** anyway
I don't think the Allams staying for another season continuing to do the stupid things which people justifiably moan about is a positive.
That's what we did in the 'good old days' at Boothferry Park that a lot of you long for. How many do you think stood together in the Kempton ? Yet still created an unforgettable atmosphere that everyone speaks about. In fact a crowd of 7,000 was considered a good gate. I recall more days like Monday v Sheff U. Outnumbered and outsung in our own ground and all of them were at Bootherry Park during the 'good old days'
