I hear on the grapevine that it appears Portsmouth may well be about to fall prey to a Covid outbreak amongst their squad - testing shortly to take place to determine the extent of the problem. Apparently Ipswich have also been hit, so heavens knows what's going to happen over the next few weeks, when there's a very good chance that things will deteriorate further. I would imagine the completion of the EFL could be in serious doubt, this season if things carry on like this!
It will be difficult to fit in all these rearranged games and if they end up stopping the league, surely there hasn't been enough games played to end the table in points per game again.
At least with the Pompey game cancelled and our own isolation period coming towards its end, Tisdale will get some time at The Quarters with the squad. We’ve gone from two games a week to less than one per fortnight!
