We've just gone 4 home league games without a Gills goal. This might be considered bad - but I think we've had worse !!
In 2007 / 8 we had a run of 7 home games where we failed to score in games 1,2,3,5,6,7. Match No.4 was a win ( 1-0 against Huddersfield.)
Match No.8 in the sequence was a 2-1 win against Bournemouth........................... and 10 years later - where are both those teams who somehow were worse than The Gills -- in the bloody Premier League.

    Never !
The previous lowest number of home wins was 6 in 1922 & 1971

And that causes me a big concern, reason being even as a young lad I always saw Priestfield as a fortress, even Stimmo managed to keep to that golden rule!

I don't blame Lovell, he sorted this rabble out for us to at least let us tinker with the play-offs, which in itself is hopefully enough to now see us fight of relegation. However, pre-season, I'd rather see him delve into the bargain basement than keep most of the rubbish we've got, with the exception of the few I've mentioned.
