I phoned Neymar, Ronaldinho and fat Ronaldo, but none of them are answering their phones. Just emailed them, so if I get any replies I'll let you know if you are correct.

I didn't miss your point . I think a larger league does bring benefits . I explained why . This notion of meaningless games is crazy . How many "meaningless" games will be played in the premiership this season once Celtic have won the league and Hearts are relegated by Xmas ?

As for the players skill level being the same as in the past ??????? You are having a laugh there surely . You said it yourself in your post . Any good Scottish players are now snapped up by "championship team" . In the past any good English team was filled with Scottish players .

The small pitches and goals thing for kids is already in place and has been for some time .

For the first time in not606 history, I had a proper football discussion.

    With Edge. <yikes>

The majority of the games in our league are meaningless anyway. Only the old firm can win the league so the rest of the teams are playing to avoid the drop and thats it.

Making it 20 teams won't make any difference to the amount of meaningless games.

Eric, there is no old firm, and there never will be an old firm again . It takes
two teams to make the old firm , one team Celtic is going from strength to
strength and the other team Rangers 1872 died last year. In their haste to get
The Rangers to the summit again , their friends in the SFA and some people
whose real intentions are not clear , are combining to kill The Rangers
Probably in 2014, but certainly long before they get to the SPL .
The old firm is dead and dead for ever.

A bad case of timnesia here . So sad .

Strength to strengh ? Really ?

Last season Celtic had their worst start to a league campaign in 15 years . They also had the indignity of breaking the record for having the least ball possesion in a champions league game .Not to mention having to massage attendance figures for every home game because no **** was turning up to watch you going from strength to strengh .

Makes you wonder why the Tic need to close part of their stadium with rhings going so well <laugh>

Or alternatively we won the league with ease, followed it up with the cup, enjoyed one of our greatest results in european competition for decades and our best ever points tally in the CL group stages (a record for a scottish team). All whilst enjoying the reincarnation of our former rivals embarrass themselves on and off the pitch on an almost weekly basis.

As for massaging attendances, people in glass houses ...

None of which has any any bearing on improving the actual footballing ability of the players involved.

The only way for scottish football to improve is for scottish footballers to improve. This wont occur until the game ceases, primarily, to be the preserve of thick neds and well meaning *****ls.

Celtic have new rivals do they?

Who is currently rivaling Celtic? Aberdeen? Inverness? (<laugh>)

Seriously though. The only thing Celtic have to be proud about last year was the CL football. In the league you won 6 less games, drew 4 more times and lost an extra twice when compared to the season before. Micheal Higdon was top scorer last year for **** sake.

That overall performance would've probably lost you the league had we been there.

Anyhow, I'll be glad to ignore any follow up questions or posts that you may have.

Seems the Gers fans have been analysing the performances of Celtic in some depth. <whistle>

How can there be another old firm derby. It is a simple fact that the last twelve
years of old firm derbies only took place because one of the teams Rangers 1872
cheated and conned their way to countless millions of other people's moneys.
No one connected to either of the Rangers have made any attempt to apologise
or pay back any of the money .

    It's magic so it is.

In firefox you can have 2 tabs open at the same time, one for 2011/12 season and one for the 2012/213 season!!!!
