Just found an article more interesting than this news about Simpson:

James Perch enjoys quiche

News out of the North East today reveals that James Perch, Newcastle United's number one utility player, has recently enjoyed a hot slice of quiche.

"Yeah it was nice" exclaimed Perch. "It was a ham and cheese quiche. It had lots of nice cheesy flavour, but the chunks of ham could have been bigger"

Asked if he would consider buying the quiche again, Perch replied "Yeah probably. Might try the broccoli one next though"

Good news simmo is quality and should be getting an england cap soon has been solid but unspectacular all season. Shame its not jose or barton but still good news! Ps why all the fuss over nolan? Hes got 2 years left and hes 28 or 29 now why would we wanna offer him a new deal so soon? Its moves like offering a player on his way downhill a new improved contract which got nufc into such a mess a few years ago. We dont want more deadwood, if we get another 2 decent years out of him extend it we arnt in a rush to do it now so why bother and potentially waste money?im jus sayin

Doubt Simmo wll get an England cap. Capello won't drop Johnson(even though he's ****) and even then I'd much prefer Micah Richards and Kyle Walker looks class too

Yeh micah richards is class but is often foolish and wasteful, simmo reminds me of neville in his hayday just solid and consistant hes still only young too, i just think if capello wants to bring through youth why not give him a shot, hes probably had a better season than johnson and has played more than richards and walker. Simmo was immense against arsenal away aswell and capello was at that game
