Saw this on LFW's, the sort of work that shows that this stupid little club that we all support do some bloody good work, long may it continue......

Watching football is nothing knew for me. For over four decades I was a Season ticket-holder at Queens Park Rangers Football Club in Shepherds Bush, London. In my first years, there was only one stand, the Ellerslie Road stand, so I stood behind the goal. From there I watched the great Rodney Marsh, then, as the club rose through the leagues, Stan Bowles, Gerry Francis and later, such luminaries as Les Ferdinand, Ray Wilkins, Kevin Gallen, Adel Taarabt and the always surprising (remember that Wembley goal) Bobby Zamora.
