Just not good enough tbh...early days but think he needs to go back to the tactics drawing board for both home and away games. We should by now have won a game...I'd guesstimated 4 points after 3 games...now I'm hoping for 5 after 4....but c'mon lads get bloody scoring. I'd go Hunt, Main and Chaplin for a game - why not.

Final whistle, and it's 2-0 to Morcambe.

BBC Sport statistics show we had 59% of possession, to 41% for Morcambe.

We had 25 shots (7 on target), the home side had 6 shots (3 on target).

We had 14 corners, they had 4.

They scored 2 goals, we scored F*ck all.

It's the same **** as last season, the only difference being we can't score this year.

Eastney is right - drop Smith (send him out on loan to Aldershot) and play 3 up front against Colchester, including Conor Chaplin.

Hate to say it, but if things continue in this vein, I would urge the Pompey board to go all out and get the ex-Reading manager, Brian McDermott. He would have Pompey back up that table and scoring goals.

An excuse that might be trotted out is that the players are still in the process of getting to know each other. Well Crawley signed 18 new players in the summer and managed a win away last night.

Didn't go in the end I'm afraid :( Mrs Q was not really well. I know it's only 3 games + a cup tie but I expected Morecambe to be in a relegation battle and you to be in the play-offs.
