    Drop Giroud, play Gerv as a striker. He's doing a good impression of a striker at the moment.

    While Podolski has been fantastic. He should be played down the middle IMO.

    I would rather Poldi. Wenger is turning him into a beast. He's aggressive, hardworking and has a cannon of a left foot.

    While we haven't played badly (silly penalty to give away) I'm disappointed by Giroud. He has been getting great service down the flanks and through the middle. Chamak 2.0?

    Good half of football <ok>

    I loved the way we came straight back after then Pen.

    I think we're good for at least another goal in the 2nd half. Gervinho and Podolski look really lively, but I'd love to see Giroud get on the scoresheet

    I'd rather Gervinho, Podolski has a great engine, he's just running up and down that left flank. He's great both defensively and when attacking and he played centrally we would miss that.

    We have done well, but some sloppy moments. Giroud is getting owned by their CB, though.

    From what I've seen and heard, City are struggling, Nasri has been forced off the field with an injury and Balotelli isn't even on the becnh. This could bode well for us this Sunday when we play them.

    Don't really understand the anti-Giroud sentiment on this thread. He's been marked extremely closely throughout the first half and has still managed an assist and another great pass to Poldi just before half time. He also makes intelligent runs and hasn't had a single good opportunity to score tonight yet so criticism of him at this stage seems harsh to me.
